Somi Lindsay (Apsaras Arts Adelaide) is a Bharathanatyam practitioner and teacher. Student of the esteemed Smt Neila Sathyalingam (Singapore), Somi has been featured as a lead artist in countless productions and has represented her dance internationally over 2 decades. Apsaras Arts Adelaide,is a bespoke Bharathanatyam dance school propagating this art under her leadership since 2012.
Durga Mani Maran (Tripataka Singapore) is a teaching artist trained in Bharathanatyam by Gurus in Singapore and India.A graduate of contemporary arts with a Dance major (Deakin University) she has been working on shifting the traditional dance pedagogy to suit the needs of the learner. Durga has conceived, produced and toured 13 independent works supported by major grants and regularly lectures in China
