Sabra
'Sabra' is a compelling one-woman play that delves into the complex emotional landscape of migration, identity, and family. Written and performed by Netta Yashchin and directed by Asnat Zibil, the production brings to life the story of Zhenia, a recent immigrant from the USSR in the 1970s. A mother of three, Zhenia shares her inner world with humor, honesty, and vivid authenticity, navigating hardship, hope, and her evolving relationship with her teenage daughter, Fania.

Netta Yashchin is a professional Actress and Director, (NIDA). She had formed The Yashchin Ensemble in 1999 and won the award for innovation and defying conventions for the adaptation of a short story by Gabriel Garcia Marques "I Only Came to Use the Phone". She has acted in many productions such as " Checklist for an Armed Robber," " Memmie-Le Blanc," and "Quartet." Sabra was featured at the International Izmir Festival in Turkey 2022. It was part of the prestigious United Solo Theatre Festival in New York and originally produced by the Teatroneto Festival in 2021. recently presented at Sydney Fringe Festival. Netta has been also studying composition, and she had recently released five singles.
