One Spirit Africa presents "Shishi Jee Kane", meaning "The dawning light". This will be an explosion of African rhythm, with vibrant traditional dancing that will be a feast for the senses. 
This Band is an Award Winning International (10) piece Band, who have been involved in many festivals world-wide to date, fronted by the incredible, charismatic performer, 'Fred Nii Addo', one of Australia's most celebrated African Artists.
One Spirit Africa brings together many different styles by using ancient pulsing rhythms, including brass instruments and African Drums, which makes this band true Festival favourites, creating ecstatic dance/party reception, wherever they play.

Also hailing from Ghana West Africa, Ras MINANO is an accomplished Afroreggae/Afrobeats and World Music artist and has achieved international recognition, winning the USA WAM Reggae/World Music Song of the Year Award in 2020 and 2021. His Band, The Hope of Africa Adelaide, is a collective of awesome and very talented Adelaide based musicians and, playing at the Independence Day Concert with One Spirit Africa, they bring World Music to the stage.

One spirit Africa is an Afro-fusion band led by Fredrick Kpakpo Addo, a master dancer, drummer, multi-instrumentalist and choreographer based in Victoria, Australia, with over 25 year’s experience in performance. He has toured Sweden, Israel, New Zealand, USA and some African Countries. One Spirit Africa performs with high-energy, colourful costumes and offers good vibes under the guidance of Universal Peace Federation Ambassador Fredrick Kpakpo Addo, aiming to promote peace and unity through music. The group creates amazing word and a friendly environment enabling the audience to experience the power and energy that African dance accomplish.
Praised for his compelling melodies and distinct percussive blend of the traditional and the contemporary, Fred Nii Addo is modernising West African music whilst maintaining the essence of ancient sounds, stories and histories.
Fred Nii Addo has composed and recorded 21 Albums-spanning many different genres including JAZZ/ African Roots Music/ Reggae/ Funk/ Hip Hop/ Electronice/ Folk and Classical.
