MISTER METAPHOR MULTIMEDIA MARATHON
A decade since his first solo Fringe show, local burlesque boffin Mark Metaphor is dusting off his best free multimedia lectures each week of Fringe. How does a cowboy choose who to shoot in a Good, Bad &/or Ugly three-way standoff? What is James Bond's favourite casino game? Is Hollywood's Master of Suspense as good as they say? Every Sunday before Twilight, we'll visit a different Zone of the unknown. Come for the show, stay for the food & drink.

Presented by: Mark Metaphor
Many moons ago, Mark Metaphor dipped his toes into the local stand-up scene, complimenting his character costume comedy with yearly Fringe shows that were anything but funny. Instead, audiences were subject to free multimedia lectures about esoteric subjects around mathematics, psychology & history, set to video remixes of Hollywood cinema, with a rock & roll soundtrack. After Mark Metaphor realised his observations on airline peanuts were even funnier when set to music, he fell bum backwards into the burlesque world, becoming Mister Metaphor. A decade after his first solo Fringe show, and a year after winning a Weekly Film/Digital Fringe Award (for his multimedia lecture on Hitchcock's Tropes), Mister Mark Metaphor presents five different shows across five nights, each week of the Fringe.
