Afonso Caxala came to Australia from Angola, Africa, as an international student. Instead of studying, he started trading his African pets, lions with kangaroos and cheetahs with koalas, while hired in the zoo to interpret his animals’ click language to Aussies. While in Australia, he met an Asian woman and started enjoying tea and yum cha. His children are very colourful like the rainbow, but they change colours constantly, depending on the location. When they are in Africa, his kids identified themselves as Afrosians; when in Asia they are Asiafros and when in Australia Aussiefros.

Afonso will keep you laughing throughout the show with stories of Africa, English language, his international marriage and Australia multiculturalism. His style of delivery, his dancing movements and infectious laugh will keep your mouth opens for hours.
