Each night two of Adelaide Fringe's finest performers enter the flat-pack thunderdome to undertake the ultimate home improvement indignity: building IKEA furniture. The task is simple: build the piece of furniture before your opposition does. Is it a race? YES. Is it a game-show? Also YES. A plethora of assorted sabotages are at the contestants' disposal to ensure that the road to glory is paved with pitfalls!

Social Club Productions is a comedy theatre company from Melbourne created by Kieran Bullock for the purpose for creating high quality, high energy theatre productions. Their first show was the West End smash The 39 Steps, which was performed at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival in 2016. Their first original play was The Ides of March, which enjoyed sell-out seasons at the 2019, 2020, and 2021 Adelaide Fringe festivals. IKEA WARS is Kieran's gloriously insane solo venture.
Comedy and entertainment are at the heart of all Social Club productions - a return to the days of old where people went to the theatre to be entertained. Much like going to the cinema or watching television. Theatre as entertainment. Somewhat old school. As relevant as ever.
