RSASA Gallery is a historic gallery, having been built in 1906 for the RSASA. The RSASA has celebrated 165 years, and maintains a membership of creative artists in all media of art. A member based art society, the oldest in Australia with a prolific membership of professional and emerging artists. Artists showcase their art in our gallery, with an amazing skylight allowing daylight to enter the gallery from above, playing with the lighting effects as the sun passes over. Staging Youthscape exhibitions for artists 15 - 26 years, as well as the RSASA Portrait Prize exhibitions. The RSASA also organizes a Life Drawing Group and a Friday morning Sketch Group. There is much on offer to all artists. Historical research, and encouraging experimental contemporary art practises.
