In this evening where art and music come together, Jonathon Glonek performs four captivating works for unaccompanied violin at The David Roche Foundation. Within the beautifully appointed surrounds of the ‘Roman Room’ in Fermoy House, enduring classics by Bach and Paganini are performed alongside a thrilling and virtuosic sonata by Eugène Ysaÿe, and a rarely heard work by Mikhail Shukh which re-imagines themes from Rimsky-Korsakov’s ‘Scheherazade’.

JS Bach Sonata No. 2 in A minor BWV 1003 – Nicolo Paganini Caprices Op.1 Nos. 5, 7, 21, 24 – Mikhail Shukh Scheherazade's Dreams – Eugène Ysaÿe Sonata No. 6 in E major Op. 27/6
