Bush Foods Dreaming - Country and the Place I Call Home

An exhibition of paintings and three-dimensional works by Aboriginal artist Micky Barlow, a South Australian artist from the Kokatha language group.

"Living in the Fleurieu we are surrounded by an abundance of native bush foods, flora and fauna. This exhibition captures my love of country and the place I call home" Micky Barlow.

Micky was a finalist in the Waterhouse Natural Science Art Prize 2018 at the South Australian museum. She is a prolific artist whose works can be found in numerous collections.

Red Poles is an Indigenous art gallery which is part of the complex that is Red Poles which is also a restaurant, B&B and cellar door. It is set amongst vineyards and natural bushland in McLaren Vale which is only a few minutes from well known landmarks of d'Arenberg and The Cube and Wirra Wirra winery. Red Poles is open Wednesday to Sunday from 9am to 5pm and there is live music every Sunday from 12.30 to 3.30pm.
