Adelaide's only monthly musical theatre open-mic event brings you a ONE-NIGHT-ONLY Fringe spectacular... two hours of music by Alan Menken - best known for his extensive contribution to the Disney theatrical and animated movie catalogues.
While regular Sessions allow performers to sing anything from the musical theatre universe, tonight we focus on the man who made many early-90s childhoods sing.
Who can forget songs like Arabian Nights, A Whole New World, Be Our Guest, and Part of Your World, to name just a few... AND his Broadway hits such as Newsies, Little Shop of Horrors and Sister Act.

Broadway Sessions is Adelaide's only monthly music theatre performance and curated open mic night. Each Session provides an inclusive and easily accessible opportunity for performers of all backgrounds and ages to sing songs from musicals, or by established music theatre writers. This isn’t any old open mic night – the talented Broadway Sessions band will be there to help you hit the right notes, and the house will be filled with an audience of supportive music theatre lovers.

Broadway Sessions is on the last Sunday of every month. Doors open at 5:45pm for a 6:30pm start. Each session runs approximately two hours, plus a 20 minute interval. Tickets are $15-20, and are available online or at the door subject to availability. Food and drinks are available from the bar.
