Hannah Maxwell: I, AmDram
27 February 2026 - Chris M.I went to see Hannah Maxwell: I amDram. An immensely entertaining play that begins with the audience singing It's a Long Way to Tipperary and ends with 4 audience members (I was one of them) performing a choreographed grand finale. In between we meet a young girl wanting to sing " On the Street Where You Live" in My Fair Lady, discovering her sexuality, trying to "come out" to her family, and much more. Loved it. -

Bob Marley: How Reggae Changed The World
27 February 2026 - Chris M.I was looking forward to some Bob Marley reggae, but was given much more by Duane Forrest. I doubt there is better musical theatre at this year's Fringe. Life affirmation to a reggae beat. Do yourself a favour and get a ticket to "Bob Marley: how reggae changed the world" at the Holden Street Theatre. -
Con Coutis: Joke Protocol (Live Comedy in Surround Sound)
27 February 2026 - Andrew G.Con once again tries to con us into thinking he's a stand-up comedian, when he's actually an incredibly talented and funny physical performer. Using his natural comic timing, wit, technology and a little bit of help from the audience, Joke Protocol is a hilarious, inventive, and clever spy film parody. A damn fun time! -
'The Soaking of Vera Shrimp' from Patch of Blue
27 February 2026 - Chris M.Martha Walker is brilliant in The Soaking of Vera Shrimp. I went to the play not really knowing what to expect. At first I thought it might be a comedy and by the end of the play I had a tear in my eye. Martha plays Vera Shrimp, a young high school student coping with the death of her mother, school, friends, a distant father, by immersing herself in the wonders of rain. A must see. In fact I might go and see it again. -
Beyond the Red Thread
27 February 2026 - Andrew G.A collection of contemporary and experimental dance pieces examining different aspects of womanhood. Some pieces were sensual, some rather beautiful, others surprisingly brutal! I didn't feel there was a single dud and despite the wide range of moods and themes explored, it all felt like a cohesive whole. Loved it!
