I once again had the opportunity to see an original music show and I took a chance on Adelaide band, The Love Mussels.  Having formed in 1996, after being on hiatus for over 10 years, they released an album last year called “It’s All Relative”, dedicated to the life, loves, and other interesting facts of Albert Einstein.  The Love Mussels performed the album in full, with their brand of fuzzed up psychedelic and acoustic rock.  Intertwined with anecdotes about Einstein, the musical journey was entertaining and educational too!  My highlights were the songs “Space and Time” and “Tail Wags The Dog”.  I really enjoyed the vintage psych sounds and catchy melodies, and it was great to hear a few songs from their back catalogue too.  The Love Mussels are a quality band which I hope continues producing music for years to come.
