It is not a truly authentic Adelaide Fringe experience without visiting a Circus, and we believe that Circus Wonderland – A Neverland Adventure is absolutely one not to be missed for a Family fun night out! If you didn’t work it out from the name, this circus performance is based around the adventures of Peter Pan and his adventures in Neverland, as the cast brings the story to acrobatic life! The story of Peter Pan is told using impressive circus feats, with juggling, acrobatics, slapstick and aerials that enthrall the audience.

Our family of 5 were captivated by the truly hilarious antics and astounding acts of this incredible cast. We were truly immersed in the magic of Neverland! Miss 5 and Miss 8 were all smiles as they watched in awe as these talented circus folk performed trick after trick, never missing a beat! And Mr 11 is now considering a career in comedy and flipping!

The Spiegeltent is the perfect venue for this family friendly show as the action is up-close and personal, and sometimes it felt like we were part of the show! The cast interacts with the audience throughout the entirety of the show and there are even a couple of cheeky adult/pre-teen jokes to capture all age groups! The costumes are bright and sparkly and the music is on point. Miss 5 is Neurodivergent and did not find the noises, music or atmosphere too loud or overwhelming.

The venue is based in Hindmarsh Square, which provides a quieter base compared to the Garden of Unearthly Delights or Gluttony, perfect for the neurodivergent groups that still want to enjoy a Fringe experience without the massive crowds and over stimulation!

Circus Wonderland – A Neverland Adventure is the perfect Fringe experience for families.
