LION ARTS CENTRE, CORNER NORTH TCE AND MORPHETT ST, ADELAIDE, Kaurna
Nexus Arts is a contemporary arts organisation generating positive social outcomes by promoting understanding, acceptance and respect, celebrating difference and diversity through the arts. Nexus Arts has supported many local South Australian, interstate and international artists through its Visual Art and Gallery program.
Nexus Arts’ curated Visual Arts program presents artists who push the boundaries of contemporary art practice, engage with intercultural discourse through their works, and explore new ways of expressing relevant social issues surrounding cultural diversity in Australia.
Nexus Arts’ programming aligns with many cultural and artistic festivals, participating in the rich cultural landscape of South Australia which results in greater exposure for artists. No other studio space in South Australia is dedicated to the development of emerging contemporary artists from culturally diverse backgrounds, or artists who explore interculturalism through their practice.
