Electro Popped! Rise of the 80's Synthesizer

Music • Pop
South Australia • World Premiere

‘Engaging, unique and exciting: ElectroPopped! explores the New Wave Synthpop music phenomena that took the world by storm in the early 80’s through a blend of live music, multimedia and story telling. Inspired by the Synthesizer-infused sounds of the time, ElectroPopped! is a sing and dance-along spectacular!’

With music from legendary artists such as The Eurythmics, Duran Duran, The Human League, Depeche Mode, and Spandau Ballet it was music that defined the early 80's.

Fringe cabaret artiste extraordinaire Teresa de Gennaro (creator of shows such as 'Alien in LA' and 'EuroDiva') joins forces with Adelaide live band favourites 'Follow That Car' (aka Dr Teeth), as they bring the New Wave Synthpop era back to life.
