Dance Church: Alcohol Free Day Rave
A daytime community gathering blending music, movement, and mindfulness into a transformative collective experience.
Set in the peaceful Linde Reserve at the St Peters Youth Centre, just east of the city — Dance Church invites you to reconnect: with yourself, with rhythm, and with community.
This isn’t a performance or a party — it’s a guided sound and movement meditation. A journey through evolving tempos and energies, inviting you to move, release, and reconnect with your body.
Delivered through a high-fidelity, exceptional-quality sound system, every beat, texture, and frequency is felt as much as it is heard — creating a fully immersive sonic experience.
The name Dance Church has no religious ties — it honours dance as medicine. The dance floor becomes a sacred space for movement, healing, and joy.
Expect two immersive journeys:
At 11am, Daniella will guide you through a Movement Medicine experience to deeply connect with your body, heart, and life itself. After the potluck lunch on the lawn, Callum will lead a hybrid live set featuring piano, didgeridoo, and djembe, moving through funky, tech, progressive, and bass-driven house — deep, groovy, uplifting beats with occasional touches of techno, trance, and drum & bass.
For the potluck lunch, feel free to bring a small dish, salad, or snack to share if you wish.
Kitchen facilities are limited (a fridge is available for storage).
There’s a fenced playground and a public car park onsite, with additional parking across the road at the supermarket. Picnic rugs and outdoor seating are welcome — please keep the dance floor clear for movement.
Come solo, bring friends, or bring family — everyone belongs on this dance floor.
Come as you are. Leave a little lighter.
Doors open at 10:00 AM. Please arrive early for a prompt 11:00 AM start. Late entries may not be permitted. Dance Floor Guidelines: Keep the space sacred — no excessive talking. Be present — phones off during the dance. Join us for a community potluck meal for lunch on the lawn.

Originally from New Zealand, I’ve been immersed in music since age 2½. A classically trained pianist turned DJ and healer, I weave movement, rhythm, and embodiment as medicine for the soul. After seven years in the military and seven more travelling the world, my path led from Costa Rica’s Ecstatic Dances to founding Dance Church Adelaide — a space to move, heal, and celebrate life in nature together. It’s about freedom of expression, emotional release, and remembering that dance itself is medicine.
