Ancient Lives, Living Stories: Nilpena Immersion & My name is Gulpilil Screening

This popup screening of My Name Is Gulpilil, includes entry to the Nilpena Ediacara audiovisual experience in the Nilpena Ediacara National Park.

A final, deeply personal film from the late Yolŋu actor, dancer, singer and artist David Gulpilil, it reflects on his extraordinary life, from Walkabout and Storm Boy to Crocodile Dundee and Rabbit-Proof Fence.

Made after his lung cancer diagnosis, Gulpilil invited director Molly Reynolds to help craft this honest, tender and often humorous farewell in his own words.

Taking place at the historic Nilpena Woolshed in Nilpena Ediacara National Park, the screening includes native and regional grazing plates by the Prairie Hotel team, followed by a Q&A with director Molly Reynolds, who will be in attendance for these special screenings.

For any customer specific dietary requirements contact: ellie@prairiehotel.com.au. Grazing plates by the Prairie Hotel team included in the Full Price ticket. Drinks will be available for purchase.
