Juanita doesn’t break the fourth wall, she invites you in. This wonderful, solo performance is about building a connection. When it’s over and you walk away from it, you’ll continue to make space for the woman on stage who shared a meal with you. This show speaks to the core memories of many. This is a Fringe experience you should share with your chosen family.

A super insightful and inspiring show about finding your own identity in a world full of labels and stereotypes. Juanita shares her story of self-discovery through tales of hardship, humour, and food! If you’ve ever felt invisible, stereotyped, misjudged, or oversimplified, this show will definitely pull on your heartstrings. If you haven’t, you will learn something from those who have. A must see for everyone! I’ll be back this year 🥰

Honest, funny and challenging. Juanita made me laugh - and cry. She was telling my kids' stories - and my story too.
