Using the power of love intertwined with agile circus movements, Space Between tells the story between two young acrobats who experience chemistry and complications during their romantic pursuit of one another.
Swiftly and smoothly moving across their living room as the stage, Lesh and Tom grace each other and the audience with plenty of smooth cartwheels, somersaults, and witty circus tricks. The charismatic energy of both acrobats brings a smile to your face throughout the performance.
The moments of spoken word from one of them who can see the audience (whereas the other cannot) reveal the complexities of relationship conflict, which is further reinforced by the reenactments of being together but not on the same page.
The living room furniture within the set itself delivers some well integrated comedic moments, such as a transformative couch, rug cape, and a MacBook which Tom is very fond of. Don't miss the improvised elevator sounds which provided some unexpected laughs.
Rediscovering their love and connection for one another, the audience is brought back to the beginning scene of the performance, only this time with a happy ending.
It is a simple theatre story of love with awe-inspiring circus which will warm your heart.
