For an 80s girl I gotta admit I love a bit of old school 70s. Not just the disco era but all the pop hits as well from the 70s. The 60 Four are Ben Francis, Jack Conroy, Lachlan Williams and Finnegan Green and in their show Living in the 70s they sing it all! From disco to 70s rock to pop and a little bit more its a solid hour of 70s variety to please everyone. Accompanied with a 9 piece band and starting the night with the catchy dance track September by Earth, Wind and Fire, you cant get any more 70s than that! It was a non-stop party in the hot and sweaty The Flamingo tent. The 60 Four were troopers. The heat in the tent had them undressing... well they took their ties off but I must say how gallant they were to sweat it out in their shirts and jackets singing hit after hit after hit with so much energy and delight. The lads were oozing suave and charisma with a whole lot of cheeky banter in-between. The dance moves were slick and polished. Hips swayed, bodies were spinning and the crowd lapped up every bit of it! How could you not? They sang big 70s hits from Aussie and International artists Skyhooks, Sherbet, Daddy Cool, John Paul Young, Candi Station, Queen, KISS, Bee Gees and much much more! The highlights were their amazing falsettos especially from Ben Francis and Finn Green during their solos. Talk about wow! As they say "Not to be missed!" The 60 Four usually sing hits from the 60s but they nailed the 70s genre with charm and Vegas style pizzazz. Whether it was the smooth and soulful ballads or the high-energy rock and disco, these guys know how to entertain. And entertain they did. The crowd couldn't help but get up to dance. In fact if there was one criticism of this all perfect performance, it would've been to have a dance floor because this show made you wanna get up and move!
