If laughter is the best medicine, hilarious Nurse Georgie Carroll is good for your health.

Despite sell out tours and a viral video series, I’d not heard of the menopausal, middle-aged emergency nurse with two teenage lads — formerly from Yorkshire.

But I’m not likely to forget the proud South Aussie now, after an hour of rollicking, riotous comedy, drawn from our crisis ridden hospital wards and every-day travails of life.

You have to laugh, not cry, when Georgie reveals the Google review rating of patients for our public hospitals is a good point below that of Yatala Labour Prison and includes the sage advice, ‘Don’t send your loved ones here’.

If you want to know the vitally important differences between cervical (neck) and cervical (cervix) and the terms malignant and benign, Nurse Carroll is here to assist.

If you need an injection of fun, a blunt diagnosis, balm for the soul or ointment for an itch, Georgie is on hand to provide a jolly good time.

Humour bypass patients or residents of the northern town of Keith need not attend.
