This beautiful church built in 1859 has seen many generations through their lifecycle. The active community warmly welcomes all people, and have been a strong supporter of the arts for many generations. It houses a Knud Smenge pipe organ and it was steered by the Crafers Organ and Choral Music Society Inc, who brought to Adelaide outstanding musical events including Jazz Concert at Beechwood, Simon Preston at the Festival Theatre, and a series of Prom Concerts in the Adelaide Town Hall. Dr Harold Fabrikant produced his first CD recording in this church in 1996. The current Director of Music, Alex Roose, affirms this is a perfect acoustic venue, we attribute it to the design of the arches and transepts along with the wooden floor. The church is still an active Christian worship community, presenting a choir comprised of volunteers once a month.
