Becky & the Gents: A Groovy Evening

Boogie on down to one of Adelaide’s favourite entertainers, Becky Blake, and her talented band of Gents. Enjoy an evening of fun as Becky and the Gents put their own groove on funky tunes and disco beats from Blondie to Daft Punk in a celebration of music. Dancing is encouraged! 

On lead vocal and keyboard, Becky has delighted audiences fronting showband Chunky Custard and performing her Fringe award-winning Piano Chick cabaret shows. Featuring Gary Isaacs on guitar, Ron Kosmider on bass and John McDermott on drums, Becky & the Gents provide top-class music and wonderful entertainment in a hot new venue, The Pyramid.

You will probably recognise Becky Blake as Miss Candy Bar from Australia’s greatest show band Chunky Custard, entertaining audiences internationally for decades. Becky is also known as The Piano Chick, performing her own cabaret shows to rave reviews at the Adelaide Fringe and Cabaret Fringe Festivals and on cruise ships, winning an award for Best Cabaret for Fringe 2017.

More recently Becky has been exploring her cultural Filipino and Aboriginal heritage, performing as feature artist at the Oz Asia Festival and wrote the original song, Where My Footsteps Tread, for the international multi-award-winning documentary I’m Not A Runner.
