Ange Lavoipierre: Zealot

Comedy • Performance
New South Wales
'Zealot' is a demented excavation of the structurally unsound layer cake that is God through the eyes of a child. In it, award-winning comedian, ABC journalist and one-time true believer Ange Lavoipierre presents the many accounts of God given to her before she lapsed into a heathen malaise at 15 years, 6 months, and 12 days. Most of the explanations left her with yet more questions. Does Santa believe in himself? Whomst amongst us will go to heaven? Did God invent herpes? And is the blue Google Maps dot sentient? 'Zealot' has answers and will give you plenty to believe in.

Praise for Ange:
★★★★ "Mind melting sh*t" The Skinny.
★★★★ "Honest, dark and wild" The Adelaide Advertiser.
★★★★ "A powerhouse of a performer" Plays To See.
Winner, Best Comedy Weekly Award, Adelaide Fringe 2019.
