Unleashing the weird, the freaky, and the wild in all its glory, Late Night Dynamite is a no-strings-attached variety show that brings a mix of the well-known and emerging artists and performers (primarily from SA). Hosted by a very pregnant and glowing Katie Wright, the audiences are instantly drawn to her signature laugh (complete with snorts!), her eccentric and likeable personality, her self-deprecating humor, and her skills in juggling swords in stiletto heels like a motherf**king boss!

Every variety show deserves to kick off with some sultry burlesque action and who better to do it than the insatiable goddess Miss Bettie Bombshell. Having watched Bettie across a variety of variety shows, I can safely confirm that each act is a unique and utterly seductive experience. Coupled with her signature facial expressions, her killer moves with the hips that do not lie, and her ability to engage the audience in her act, this shapes up to be quite a dynamic piece.

Next up, Katie Wright comes back on stage and lures an audience member to participate in a rather death-defying act, but it's the razor sharp commentary that Katie delivers rather nonchalantly that truly wins me over. If you're the very lucky audience member who is picked for the interactive bit, go absolutely nuts and push yourself out of your comfort zone because you may even become the real star of the show!

We are then treated to the sweet and spicy duo Lisa Goldsworthy and Marina Gellmann, who demonstrate the true meaning of love using sheer agility and strength via acrobatics...and some shattered glass pieces. Complemented by a deep and emotion-inducing soundtrack, this act will make you want to look away but I implore you to power through it and appreciate the dedication to the act that is so very transparent in this memorable piece. They also make an appearance later on in the show, where Lisa blows everyone's minds by being able to hula hoop her way through the stage in ways that gives off the illusion of Lisa morphing into a human version of a slinky.

JT Jordan Twartz's diabolo spinning skills will leave you hypnotized, as he makes the instrument bounce from one end of the tent to the next, with the audiences' jaws dropped as he doesn't flinch a single time. Sounds easy but I can assure you that there is a level of skill and expertise to this piece that demands your complete attention.

We then see contortionist Jonathan Mendez aka Bonebreaking Leo attract a wave of audible gasps and screeching noises, as he lives up to his name and bends his entire body in ways that we wouldn't deem safe or even marginally possible. The way he is able to fit into a tennis racket needs to be seen to be believed - please take my word for it. It may also make you lose feeling in your bones, just FYI.

Bringing the show home with a final act, we are graced with the presence of the stunning Boo Dwyer, who serenades us with Dolly - a musical piece that is dedicated to a grey hair that has taken residence in Boo's life - I just can't tell you the exact location but if you are really curious, you will need to find out by going to the show over the next week, before their season wraps up for the year!

There is not a single moment throughout the show where you won't be simultaneously entertained and aroused! Expect to be showered with bucket loads of fun, sexual innuendos, and an authentic taste of a damn good Fringe experience. If you haven't been to the Adelaide Fringe yet, this show is a good starting point to get into the mood.
