Adelaide Fringe’s 2023 Weekly Best Dance Award winner – Red District has hit Gluttony in full force this year, bringing with them a more seductive and tantalising show than ever before! Don’t let the show’s name fool you – Red District gives so much more than provocative dancers. Producer and performer, Carlie Hunter has brought some of South Australia’s most incredible performers together so we can experience a night of awe and temptation. As soon as you walk into the tent, you’re greeted with devilish dancers and immediately transported into a world of seduction. If you’re worried about not seeing the action from the back of the crowd, there’s absolutely no need – these dancers will come to you. With the audience hung up on every movement, the energy is amplified with a hard-hitting opening number. You’ll be immediately hit with strong femininity that perfectly shows off the beauty of human movement. Once you’re truly captivated, the show’s host Hew Parham will make his debut and bring the perfect dash of cheeky comedy before the crowd is left in awe by the breathtaking aerial artistry and enticing dances that are yet to come. If you’re looking for a sensual cabaret performance that will put the red in Red District, look no further! I gasped, I laughed, and I was left wanting more from these incredibly talented performers. Get ready for a night of seduction, clever wit and awe-inspiring beauty that will leave you wrapped in your desires.
