Giving Day

Giving Day

Thanks to the generosity of Fringe audiences, we raised $101,211 on our second annual Giving Day, enabling us to help 6000 people to attend Fringe!

These are people from communities experiencing disadvantage and low-socioeconomic school groups who absolutely wouldn’t have this opportunity otherwise.

From the bottom of our hearts and those of the communities we support, THANK YOU for your generosity, your consideration and your spirit.

Your donations will help us reach more people than we’ve ever been able to support. Ever. Your support matters:
  • It can literally transport someone from their everyday life and inspire creativity they never knew they had
  • People from diverse cultural backgrounds and those with lived experiences of disability can see themselves on stage and be inspired to tell their stories through the arts and continue educating audiences through Fringe, maybe as artists themselves
  • You’ve helped bring communities together, normalising opportunity and providing an inclusive welcoming environment for all.

How your donation makes a difference

From Fiona Endacott, CEO of Connecting Foster & Kinship Carers SA who have been receiving Fringe tickets for carer families for the last six years:
“Thank you. Free tickets are a beautiful way to expose the amazing events and culture that South Australia has to offer to young people in a risk-free way. Fringe is normalising opportunity... knowing that you can go along and experience such an incredible event and say [to other kids] that you’ve attended and enjoyed it, and been out with your family”.

We are truly overwhelmed by the kindness and generosity of our Fringe community and dedicated stakeholders, and will do everything in our power to reach that 10,000 ticket number next year to support as many communities as we possibly can.

Thank you to our Giving Day Matching Partners Lumo Energy SA, Uraidla Hotel and MGA Whittles Community Foundation for making your support go so much further.

Also to Lutheran Care who provide year-round support of our community program. Once again thank you. We are honoured to distribute your kindness to people who really need some joy in their lives.

How you can support Arts Unlimited all year round
