Adelaide Fringe isn’t just a festival—it’s a movement. A celebration of creativity, connection, and community that brings people together through the magic of the arts. But for too many, this experience remains out of reach. Through Adelaide Fringe’s Foundation, Arts Unlimited, we’re breaking down barriers, ensuring that everyone - regardless of their circumstance - has the chance to be part of Adelaide Fringe.

Every year, Adelaide Fringe’s Giving Day raises money to help provide access to communities facing disadvantage and low-socioeconomic and remote schools that would otherwise miss out on the transformative power of Fringe.

In 2024, during our second annual Giving Day, we raised just over $100,000. This incredible funding enabled nearly 6000 community members to experience the magic of Adelaide Fringe.

This year, we’re aiming even higher—with your support, we can open the doors to Fringe for 10,000 people who need it most.

Your donation on Giving Day will be matched dollar-for-dollar by our generous Matching Partners, giving us twice the power to reach more people than ever before.

Thank you to our Giving Day Matching Partners Lumo Energy, Toyota, Lutheran Care and MGA Whittles Community Foundation for supporting this important initiative.

The Impact of Your Support

“We were gifted 4 tickets to 360 All Stars. I went with my husband and our 2 kids (aged seven and four). We had never seen anything like it—the smiles on my kids’ faces were priceless. Almost every night since, our kids have been inspired to do a show in our loungeroom, complete with tickets, dancing and different ticks they have been practising. Big thanks. We wouldn’t have otherwise afforded to do anything at the Fringe, so it was wonderful to be able to give our family this experience”.

“The schools equity program (supported by Arts Unlimited funding) was crucial in enabling my year 12 Essential English class to view live theatre for their first assessment task. Many of the students come from disadvantaged backgrounds, and the class included students with disabilities, Aboriginal students and students with English as an Additional Language, many of whom had never attended live theatre before. It was wonderful to be able to share my love of theatre with my class and introduce them to this artform”.
Pru Pole (Teacher and Coordinator at Le Fevre High School), Schools Equity Program Recipient

“The generosity of donations made to Fringe allowed some of our young people to experience the arts in a new way which they otherwise wouldn’t be able to afford. It’s important that our young people get to experience the diversity of what SA has to offer and being part of the best festival in the world was a privilege.”
