Adelaide Fringe will deliver a huge boost to South Australian artists and venues with the announcement of $500,000 in grants to assist them in their planning for the 2021 season.
The official 2021 Adelaide Fringe Poster, embracing the vibrancy, colour and fun of the festival, has been unveiled today, kicking off the start of celebrations for the season.
The Adelaide Fringe Artist Fund, which is made possible by the generosity of the Adelaide Fringe Foundation donors and the Donor Circle, has awarded over $118,000, while The First Nations Collaboration Grants, supported by Arts South Australia, Department of Premier and Cabinet, has offered over $100,000 to First Nations Artists.
Adelaide Fringe Director and CEO Heather Croall said while it won’t be business as usual next year, Adelaide Fringe is supporting artists and venues to help them prepare for Fringe within COVID restrictions.
