WHAT IS FRINGE MEMBERSHIP?

Fringe Membership is an exclusive program available to all arts and culture fanatics of Adelaide.

Being a Fringe Member gets you exclusive access to discounted access to gigs, shows and venues during the Adelaide Fringe - and throughout the rest of the year too!

WHAT DOES IT COST?

A Fringe Membership costs only $19.95 for a year of entertainment benefits, giveaways and discounts - as well as a range of VIP benefits offered during the Adelaide Fringe. 

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF BEING A FRINGE MEMBER?

For just $19.95 per year, benefits of being a Fringe Member include:

  • Fringe Member lounges at FringeTIX box offices in Adelaide CBD
    Express phone line for FringeTIX services
    Express line for ticket collection at FringeTIX Box Offices
    VIP concierge service in Fringe Member lounges to help navigate the Guide
    Exclusive Fringe Member night at the Fringe Club
    Fringe Member prices to participating shows throughout the Fringe season
    Access to exclusive entertainment discounts and giveaways year-round

HOW DO I SIGN UP AS A FRINGE MEMBER?

You can choose to sign up as a member in person, online or over the phone!

In person:

If you prefer face to face, you can head to any of our FringeTIX box office locations to sign up as a member and to purchase FringeTIX or Fringe vouchers! 

Online:

To sign up as a Fringe Member online, you will need to sign up and log in to your MyFringe account before heading to the Fringe Membership section of the website.

Call our friendly FringeTIX staff by calling 1300 621 255, 9am - 5pm Monday-Friday.

HOW CAN I BUY GIFT MEMBERSHIPS FOR FAMILY AND FRIENDS?

If you are wanting to purchase multiple memberships for family and friends, or gift a Fringe Membership to someone as a surprise - you're in luck!

Just call FringeTIX on 1300 621 255 during business hours Monday - Friday (excluding Public Holidays) to get your pressies sorted.

 

WHAT HAPPENED TO TREv?

From October 19th 2016, the TREv under-30’s program merged with the new Fringe Membership program.

All existing TREv members were automatically transferred to a complimentary 12 month Fringe Membership from this date and will continue to receive the same benefits that TREv had...plus more!

WHY THE CHANGE?

The main motivation to merge TREv with a new paid program is to include people of all ages and to create greater engagement to arts and entertainment events in Adelaide year-round.

Other reasons for the merge:

  • To include over 30’s in a membership program
  • To continue to engage under 30’s in the Arts
  • To give more back to those that are dedicated and active Adelaide Fringe consumers
  • To support local artists by getting more bums on seats at their events
  • To increase awareness of events throughout the year
  • To reach new audiences and get more people out and about all year round
  • To increase attendance and ticket sales to events throughout the year
I WAS PREVIOUSLY A TREv MEMBER - HOW DO I ACTIVATE MY FREE FRINGE MEMBERSHIP?

If you have been a TREv Member in the past, then are already a Fringe Member for FREE!

Log in to MyFringe and in the MyMemberships section you will see your Membership displayed. It is called TREv Fringe Membership.

Just keep an eye on your emails for special deals and offers for the week!

All TREv members were contacted via email in late 2016 requesting members to opt in for a Fringe Member card if they wish to receive one. If you were a TREv member and did not opt in by the cutoff date, please email the team at membership@adelaidefringe.com.au to arrange for one to be posted out to you.   

HOW DO I UPDATE MY POSTAL ADDRESS?

Log in to your MyFringe (https://www.adelaidefringe.com.au/my-fringe/sign-in/new) account where you can update your billing and postal address details, change your password and also update your email account. Otherwise you can call us on 1300 621 255 and we can help you.

DO FRINGE MEMBER BENEFITS APPLY TO MY PARTNER AS WELL?

Your membership only applies to your unique MyFringe account. So your partner will need to have their own Fringe Membership under their name to redeem all benefits of being a Fringe Member (including the weekly eNews and Fringe Member pack).

You can, however, still purchase multiple discounted tickets for the both of you (up to 2 tickets per session, per event), and you can both come into the Fringe Member lounges without purchasing an additional Fringe Membership.

DO I GET ACCESS TO THE FRINGE CLUB BY BEING A FRINGE MEMBER?

The Fringe Club is for  Adelaide Fringe venues, artists and staff only.

However, we will be hosting an exclusive night at the Fringe Club for Fringe Members  on Tuesday 21st February 2017.

HOW CAN I GET FRINGE MEMBERSHIP TO REVIEW MY EVENT?

Unfortunately, we do not organise reviews through Fringe Membership.

 

The Adelaide Fringe can't review itself after all! Sorry!

WHERE DO THE PROCEEDS GO?

The proceeds made go towards costs of servicing and staffing the Fringe Membership program throughout the year, which ultimately brings you the best deals and offers to the hottest events in town.

WHEN DOES MY MEMBERSHIP EXPIRE?

All Fringe Memberships purchased for the 2016-2017 period will be valid until September 30th 2017. 

IS THE SENIORS DISCOUNT ON TICKETS MORE THAN FRINGE MEMBER DISCOUNTS?

Adelaide Fringe is an open access festival where all events are organised and arranged by the artists or their Presenters. Artists select their pricing structures themselves and Adelaide Fringe facilitates the sale of the tickets through FringeTIX. This means that in some cases, a senior ticket could be more than a Fringe Member ticket but in other cases, it might not.

IS THERE A MAXIMUM AMOUNT OF FRINGE MEMBER DISCOUNTED TICKETS THAT I CAN PURCHASE AT ONE TIME?

With a Fringe Membership discount, you are entitled to a maximum of 2 tickets per session, per event.

WHY DO I HAVE TO PAY FOR POSTAGE FOR MY EARLYTIX?

FringeTIX Box Offices do not open until early December, so in the meantime, you will receive your tickets by post!

WHEN I SIGN INTO MYFRINGE AND TRY TO PURCHASE A FRINGE MEMBERSHIP, I GET AN ERROR STATING 'CANNOT ADD NEW SUBSCRIPTION AS CUSTOMER IS ALREADY SUBSCRIBED TO SCHEME [ADELAIDE FRINGE MEMBERSHIP]'. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?

This means that you already have an active Fringe Membership! You would have previously been a TREv member and have been transferred over to a FREE Fringe Membership for the first 12 months.
