Plane Tree Lawns (entry via Friends' Gate) at Adelaide Botanic Garden

The Adelaide Botanic Garden and Botanic Park are one of Adelaide’s premiere outdoor venues.

This is a large open air, flat lawn area with vehicle access and power. Companies may set up a stage or perform on the grassed area. There are toilet facilities nearby and easy pedestrian access from the Friends Gate, which is lit at night. There may be an opportunity to install a marquee if necessary and performances in a self-contained structures, like a shipping container or structured tent, may also be considered.

This space is quite flexible so performances can be large, medium or small in scale.

Please note, this space is a turf/grassed area. Wheelchair access is available, however it does involve travelling on sawdust covered garden paths. Depending on the final set up of the space wheelchair seating is at the discretion of the company presenting the performance.
