The Backyarders are back after two sold out Fringe seasons!
The musical equivalent of a sausage on bread at your local hardware store, The Backyarders' high-energy folk/rock meets Soursob Bob’s laconic urban poetry and The Public Servants' punk attitude to produce two very special shows as Aussie as Vegemite.
The Backyarders will entertain you for two consecutive evenings.
Thursday they are joined by Soursob Bob presenting: The Soursob Bob Tribute Show Experience! Even better than the real thing!
Friday they share the stage with The Public Servants: Adelaide's premier public servant-themed novelty band with equal measures of humour, harmonies and happiness.
Be prepared for camels, hills hoists, flexitime, fairy bread, and burnouts in a government car!

The Backyarders are an Adelaide based fun-time band. The musical equivalent of a sausage on bread at your local hardware store, The Backyarders are the epitome of Australian Backyard culture. Delivering a high-energy performance laced with accordion, violin and gang vocals; contemporary folk, punk and rock meet traditional songs from around the world.
Formed in late 2019, this super group of Adelaide musicians: Doug Clark - Vocals & Guitar (Emergency Rule), Pearl Tassell - Accordion (Soursob Bob), Dylby McCullough - Bass & Vocals (Pimpin' Horus), Sarah O'Brien - Violin (The Timbers), and Lachlan Stopa - Drums (Brutaliate) burst onto the scene with a sold out show at the Adelaide Fringe in 2020.
