World Premiere
In the 1930's & 40's, Jazz soared in popularity around the world. Players such as Benny Goodman and Louis Armstrong surpassed their "classical" counterparts in imagination, dexterity and range. Composers "Duke Ellington, Irving Berlin, Jerome Kern and George Gershwin wrote music of startling originality that has stood the test of time & continues to do so. It was a golden age of popular music.

The City of Adelaide Concert Band, directed by experienced conductor Sergey Grynchuk and ably assisted by the vibrant voice of Sian Zimmer, will perform a selection of this music.
