FRANKIE&SAL in Making It Rain

Theatre and Physical Theatre • Comedy
SA Premiere
Frankie and Sal are two best friends with very different outlooks on life. Join them for a few laughs as they take you on a budget holiday... But where will they end up?

(They stay in the same bar. Art is a lie. Nothing is real)

Created and performed by Electric Fish Arts Company, FRANKIE&SAL are two strange young women who live somewhere between our reality and a farcical wonderland. They form the foundation for a series of comical stage shows reminiscent of comedy tv programs like The Mighty Boosh, The Umbilical Bros, and Lano and Woodley.

Presented by: Electric Fish Arts Company

Electric Fish Arts Company is an indie theatre group run by Bec Redsell and Daria Smith. Their interests lie in the exploration of innovative techniques and performance styles that drive the audience experience. Their mediums extend past traditional theatre practices, with plans to branch into visual art, explorative installations and the re-working of traditional play texts.

The pair formed Electric Fish Arts Company in 2015 with an artistic vision guided by the desire to re-invigorate audiences, and their environments, with feelings of joy and wonderment. FRANKIE&SAL is the first official project mounted by Electric Fish Arts Company.
