CASANOVA, MORE THAN A PLAYBOY

Theatre and Physical Theatre • Storytelling
South Australia • World Premiere

This play is based on the memoirs of the legendary lover Giacomo Casanova, who completed them towards the end of his adventurous life.

Giacomo Casanova was an adventurer, musician, writer and a spy, born in eighteenth century Venice. He is probably one of the most misunderstood men in history. Thanks to his amorous escapades his name has long being associated with womanizers and libertines.

He also had close connection with people like Voltaire, Goethe, and Mozart. He met the Pope, the King of England King George III and many more.

“They say I was a gigolo and a misogynist. Not really. Come and find out the truth. I am a philosopher. Women loved to seduce me and I loved to seduce them too. People liked my long funny fashionable nose, love songs and charms” G.C. A World Premiere.
