What is Adelaide Fringe?

Adelaide Fringe is the biggest arts festival in the Southern Hemisphere and the second in the world, completely transforming Adelaide and greater South Australia for 31 magical days and nights each year! Adelaide Fringe is a great framework to produce within, find an audience for your voice and discover a hidden gem.

Why do artists participate?

Is Adelaide Fringe right for me?

YES! Fringe is open to everyone (as long as it abides by the Terms and Conditions, and the law). If you're looking to develop work to tour in the future, Fringe is a chance to explore new work that you're making and share with a new audience and get feedback to help you develop it.

If you are a brand new practitioner and want to feel out the industry, Fringe gives you opportunities to mingle with seasoned Fringe participants, and delegates from all over the industry, and essentially learn from the best of the best.
