Target met with five Fringe days to go
12/03/2008
Adelaide Fringe has reached its ticket sales target with five sale days left at the box office.

Just over 165,000 tickets have been sold so far by Fringe artists performing at the 281 venues across Adelaide.

‘It’s an amazing increase on the 2007 final ticket sales total of 140,000 and with five days left there is still a chance for everyone to get out and see shows. The artists and the staff across all the venues have done a fantastic job this year.’ said Fringe CEO Sandy Verschoor.

‘It seems that even a record heat wave won’t stop Adelaideans drenching themselves in Fringe festivities. And there is still five days to go before the circus rolls out of town and the streets are returned to autumnal normality.’ said Fringe Director Christie Anthoney.

The average price of Fringe tickets is between $20 - $25, discounts are available for concession card holders, people aged 18-30, and BankSA customers.
